The Blazing Onion brand represents high quality food and true gourmet burgers. It merges the best elements of fast-casual with full service, creating a fast-casual restaurant with a full service attitude. The restaurant colors are warm and inviting. Each restaurant has a view kitchen, an indoor/outdoor fireplace, many HD televisions – including both restrooms, and an exciting sports lounge. The restaurant menu is designed to compete with “casual restaurants” as well as “better burger” restaurants, featuring over 25 unique gourmet burgers – including fresh all natural 100% ground chuck, wild boar, buffalo, lamb, natural chicken breast, spicy bean and our house made specialties including an awesome meatloaf, the best turkey burger you’ve ever tried and a wonderful new veggie patty. Many recipes are made in house including our “soon to be famous” BOB sauce, sweet bbq sauce, outlaw ‘3 bean’ chili, peanut butter pie, and much more. We have 16 beers on tap and over half of them are local craft beers.
In a world full of “Better Burger” concepts, we have discovered many ways to differentiate ourselves from the competition. Each table has Service Alert system which allow our guest many of the same benefits of full service. We call it “Service on Demand”. Since fast-casual is typically an order and pay in the lobby system, to address customers having to open a second check for desserts or a second drink from the lounge, our system allows the guest to choose between leaving their check open or closing their check. Guests also choose their service style by selecting the family friendly fast-casual restaurant or the full service sports lounge. Our franchise model floor plans range from 4200-5200 sq/ft and seat 150-180. We are currently working on a 2000 square foot express model to add to our portfolio. Our team can design to individual building specs. Our fast-casual/full service attitude model encourages more cross training, which typically translates to less employee turnover and staffing issues.

During each phase of the opening process the Blazing Onion corporate staff assists you with each task’s successful completion. You have daily contact with corporate through email support and phone support. The Blazing Onion Management Training Program is a 14 day comprehensive management course, covering every aspect of ownership and management combined with a 12 day kitchen management course.

Q. How much will I need to invest?
A. The estimated cost of a Blazing Onion is $850,000 – $1,400,000. Most lending institutions require a minimum investment of 30% to attain a loan.

A. Blazing Onion Franchise System will provide the franchisee with architectural assistance with drawings and specifications. The Franchisee is responsible to hire their own construction contractor and other construction suppliers, with assistance in supervision and management of the construction from the Blazing Onion Corporate Team.
Q. How much is the franchise fee for a Blazing Onion?
A. $25,000 per store location.
Q. Does Blazing Onion offer Area Development?
A. Yes. Blazing Onion Franchise LLC is actively seeking qualified candidates to develop between 3-12 locations. Under certain circumstances, we may award a single unit.
Q. How much are the on-going royalties?
A. 5% of total gross sales less sales tax.
Q. What type of marketing assistance is available?
A. Blazing Onion Franchise LLC will provide on going Local Store Marketing (LSM) advice. Each Franchisee will pay 1% of total gross sales less sales tax into the National Marketing Fund. This fund will be used to assist in print, radio, and/or television.
Q. How much money can I make from a Blazing Onion restaurant?
A. The Federal Trade Commission will not let us make any earnings claims to prospective franchisees.
Q. How is the site selected for my store?
A. Blazing Onion Franchise LLC will provide Real Estate assistance in the site procurement process including negotiation with the mall or retail space owners.
Q. Is there any experience necessary to own a Blazing Onion?
A. Yes, but not necessarily in foodservice. Blazing Onion actively searches for candidates with a strong background in business management with a good understanding of customer service.
Q. Do I need to be involved in the day-to-day operation of my franchise?
A. At least one owner or a designated manager must be involved on a full-time basis and must be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management.
Q. How will I know if I have the necessary finances?
A. Your completed personal profile will be evaluated by our finance department. You should contact a local business lender for additional information.
