The BLAZING ONION BURGER COMPANY was founded by David and Lorri Jones. It opened in March of 2007 on Main Street in Mill Creek, Washington.
The Blazing Onion began as an idea that fast food could be good food. Burgers are America's favorite food - why was it so difficult to get a fresh-grilled burger with quality ingredients, in a relaxing atmosphere - without going to an expensive full service restaurant? We combined the best of both worlds and developed a fast-casual concept we think you'll love.
Our menu features over 23 unique gourmet burgers, awesome salads, signature sandwiches, great dinners, and much more. We insist on high-quality ingredients such as Tillamook cheese, thick-cut peppered bacon, homemade sauces, and made from scratch Turkey Burgers, Spicy Chili, and our signature Burger Sauce. Any of our burgers can be made with fresh chicken breast, our turkey burger, or a Santa Fe vegetarian patty. While french fries come with each burger, we offer great upgrade choices such as onion rings, sweet potato fries, fry and onion ring combo, fry and sweet potato combo, house salad, and our own outlaw 3 bean chili. Don't forget to top off your experience with one of our many draft beers or northwest wines.
Our hamburgers are made with premium, fresh - never frozen, 20% lean, 100% ground chuck. They are seasoned with our secret recipe and flame broiled to make them irresistibly juicy and tasty.
We searched and searched for the best tasting, highest quality buns we could find. A bun that wouldn't fall apart when confronted with lots of juicy sauces and wasn't loaded with preservatives like many of our competitors.
We fry our foods, such as french fries, beer battered onion rings, and our own made from scratch beer battered cod fillets in 0 transfat oil.
As in most Fast Casual concepts, you order in the lobby, your food is prepared immediately, and served to your table. At the Blazing Onion your food isn't served by wait staff. No waiting for your server to take your drink order. No waiting for your server to take your food order. No waiting for your server to get your check. Your food will be served, but the entire restaurant team is assigned to insure you receive the best service possible. On each table is a 'Service Alert' stop sign. When you place it on your condiment holder, you alert all of us that you need something. Whether its napkins, more sauce, a beer refill, or dessert, we will take care of you. No looking over your shoulder wondering, "where is my server?". Put the sign up and relax, we're on the way.

Our original store is in the Mill Creek Towncenter on the corner of 151st St SE and the Bothell/Everett Hwy. Our beer garden and outdoor fireplace sit in the Creekside Village's glass-covered outdoor entertainment forum which features a community stage and four 65" flat screen televisions. The forum will host concerts and other events throughout the year.
Our newest store is in the Snohomish Station, South of Bickford Ford on Bickford Avenue in Snohomish. We added over 40 seats, a full Bar, a larger kitchen, and tripled our TV's. We still have our fireplace and outdoor seating. The big change is the Bar. While the restaurant retains its fast-casual style, the Bar is full service.
